Jupiter Ascending: Fact or Fiction?

I watched Jupiter Ascending despite the reviews . Here
was a movie based on the same stories that the UFO community rants about.
The movie butchered much of these stories and had a pretty boring plot.
However, anything that gets our ideas into the mainstream is a good thing.
So, I decided to write this article to clarify some of the influences
in the movie.

The biggest influence seems to be the late, off-beat scholar Zacharia
Sitchen. He wrote about a race of giants, created by the Sumerian Gods
interbreeding with early homospaiens, known as the Nephilim. Anu was
the patriarch of the Sumerian pantheon. His sons Enki and Enlil
fought amongst each other for inheritance of earth. Enki wanted to
help mankind while Enlil wanted to control them. Some say the royal
lines of Britain are direct descendants of these critters. Scientists
confirm the English royal line possesses a blood type variant that
actually looks blueish. This would explain the stories of incest
among these families – they are trying to preserve their heritage.
Prince Belim has an uncanny resemblance to Prince Charles, along with
an English accent and some nice quotes about pyramids. Regarding the
the significance of the latter, he explains “You have to accept that
some people are worth more than others.”

Middle-Eastern and Classical motifs abound in the movie. The main
character, Jupiter Jones appears to have Mediterranean features,
though is suppose to be Russian. Lush scenes of ancient Egyptian and
Greco-Roman statutes the Abrasax spaceports. According to a World
Bank whistle blower, the modern global elite call themselves the
Olympians, meaning they are decedents of Zeus and the his gang.

The reptilians also make an appearance . In one scene, Stinger Aphini
tells Jones earth was originally inhabited by a saurian race (better
known as dinosaurs). Then the Abrasax corporation wiped them out
with a nuclear weapon and seeded mammals on the planet. According to
real UFO accounts , the giant crater that is now in Mexico, was the
spot where this nuclear weapon was detonated. Traces of Iridium, a
radioactive substance are still detectable in that giant crater. In
the movie, the reptilians appear to be carbon copies of images found
on Sumerian tablets. They play a subservient role to Balem.
However, according to contactee Alex Collier, the reptilians or
Draconians are the supreme race and the Anunnaki are subservient to
them. The Draconians battled with humanoid races in the Lyra
system, which eventually led to a intergalactic world war. The
humanoids suffered devastating losses but eventually succeed in
creating an alliance called the Galactic Federation of Planets to
fight off the Draconians. Some humanoids allied themselves with
the Draconians, out of common, martial values. The Anunnaki are such
a civilization. Some claim Gene Roddenberry and George Lucas were
subconsciously influenced by these events. The contactee literature
is older than their movies.

Although the movie does reasonably well to paint this backdrop, the
rest of the story becomes thoroughly butchered by the Wachowski
brothers. Balem is trying to “harvest” planet Earth in an attempt to
keep the Annunaki race immortal. According to Bible and Koran, a
coming “harvest” is for souls, not for physical organs. Channeled
interviews known as the Ra Material state that human beings evolved
from animals and eventually will evolve to 4th and 5th dimensional
god-like beings outside time/space boundaries. This is what the
Wachowskis missed entirely. These higher dimensional beings have no
need for physical manifestation. Many detest the idea of being
incarnate, the same way I would detest the idea of becoming a fish.

This leads us to the next big question – what happened to the 2012
ascension date? Obviously, nothing happened in my reality or I
wouldn’t be here. Some say the due date only amounted to a rotation
of the earth’s axes tilt. That happens every 26,000 years, which
matches the Mayan calendar long count. Maybe that would explain the
current climate change. So an ice age is due but are humans going to
ascend? If good and evil can both ascend, then maybe should wait.
Human civilization is vicious, brutish and short. Don’t blame the
Olympians, blame yourself. Nobody wants to give us the keys to their
kingdom until we get our act together. I don’t mean waiting for Jesus
to come back either; he obviously went AWOL.

So how do the Wachowski fare in their depiction of Anuannki? I would
say mediocre. John Travolta’s Battlefield Earth gives a much more
realistic depiction of them. I’m also a fan of Stan Straczynski’s
Babylon 5 series. Straczynski paints a galactic battle between two
opposing forces manifested by elder races, each vying to control
mankind. One side values order, the other chaos. Both want humans to
evolve along their respective paths.

Finally, some guy in a suit speaks about aliens…
